With over 490 employees and approximately 100 different job profiles, the organisation is highly complex. Within just three months, TimeTool was introduced – a project that elevated not only technical solutions but also organisational collaboration between both companies to a new level. ## Nicole Didio: Why TimeTool Delivers In a video interview (in German), Nicole Didio shares how TimeTool has simplified workflows at Ricola and the positive impact this collaboration has had on the organisation. One of Ricola Group’s central goals was to utilise existing resources more effectively. With the introduction of TimeTool, responsibility for time management was shifted from HR to team leaders. The result? “In HR, we freed up capacity that we can now use more effectively,” says Nicole Didio. This gain in time and efficiency ultimately benefits everyone: “We can now coach, support, and individually develop our leaders even more effectively.” TimeTool not only simplifies day-to-day tasks but also creates space for personal development – a significant added value for the entire organisation. Today, this family-owned company exports its herbal specialties to more than 50 countries worldwide. Ricola is considered a pioneer in natural herb cultivation. Early on, the company fostered close connections with culture and architecture, reflected in the two Ricola foundations and its in-house art collection. Each year, over 100 Swiss mountain farmers supply 1,400 tonnes of fresh Ricola herbs. And by the way, the world’s favourite Ricola product? The Original Swiss Herb Drop. ![Logo Ricola AG](https://www.timetool.ch/hubfs/website/logos/references/timetool-referenzen-ricola-logo.svg) Ricola AG [www.ricola.ch](https://www.ricola.ch/) Facts Headquarters Laufen, BL Employees Approximately 500 people worldwide Distribution 7 subsidiaries worldwide and a network of distribution partners Export To more than 50 countries Customer since 2018 TimeTool Solutions in Use [![Icon TimeTool time](https://www.timetool.ch/hubfs/Timetool-2025/Images/timetool-icon-time.svg)](https://www.timetool.ch/en/time-management?hsLang=en) time [![Icon TimeTool team](https://www.timetool.ch/hubfs/website/core/module-icons/timetool-icon-team.svg)](https://www.timetool.ch/en/staff-planning?hsLang=en) team Departments Using TimeTool Management Field Service Sales Front & Back Office Production/Manufacturing Info - [Imprint](https://www.timetool.ch/en/imprint) - [Disclaimer](https://www.timetool.ch/en/disclaimer/) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.timetool.ch/en/privacy-policy) Modules - [time](https://www.timetool.ch/en/time-management) - [project](https://www.timetool.ch/en/project-management) - [team](https://www.timetool.ch/en/staff-planning) - [production](https://www.timetool.ch/en/job-time-tracking) - [access](https://www.timetool.ch/en/access-control) Resources - [Sponsoring](https://www.timetool.ch/en/sponsorship) - [SportEvents](https://www.timetool.ch/en/sportevents) - [Contact](https://www.timetool.ch/en/contact) TimeTool Newsletter - - - - - Copyright © 2026 • TimeTool AG
